NU WAVE SWIM CLUB: 2nd Place Team Overall
1st Place on the Men’s side and 5th place on the Women’s side
***Based on my records, this is the first time that we have won either the men’s or women’s team title.
Enzo Solitario was recognized as “Swimmers of the Meet” and the High Point winner!
Nu Wave had eight seniors who were honored in a ceremony before the start of the Saturday evening Finals session (see picture attached and posted to our front page).
All Nu Wave swimmers in the UNO High Performance groups qualified for our State Championships.
We achieved a very exciting and rare podium sweep (1st through 3rd) in the Men’s 200 Fly. Enzo Solitario (1st), Kayden Hedrick (2nd), and Logan Beebe (3rd).
There are a lot of numbers below. We score/place in a lot of events. I find that this is the best way to acknowledge the wide array of impact from our members. Overall, the results of this championship swim meet tend to match the training of this season. One of my favorite aspects of this sport is that you tend to get out of it what you put into it.
